Overview and Context

National Health Plan Title

The Government has endorsed a long-term National Development Strategy (2000-2020) based on the Millennium Development Goals and the current Government’s Medium Term Action Plan 2012- 2016. The Health Sector Strategic Master Plan 2006-2015 is a comprehensive policy and strategy document, upon which several programme-specific national strategies and plans have been developed, are being implemented and periodically evaluated.
