Burkina Faso joined IHP+ in October 2009. The National Health Development Plan was prepared for 2011-2020. An IHP+ Grant supported the development of a country compact which was signed in March 2013. Burkina Faso holds an annual Joint Annual Review. Burkina Faso has participated in the 2nd and 3rd round of monitoring progress against compact commitments by IHP+Results and in the 5th IHP+ monitoring round which tracked progress on the implementation of eight practices for effective development cooperation (EDC) IHP+ membership was transferred to UHC2030 in 2016.
